Ed is the former Chief Investment Officer and Founding Partner of Trian Fund Management, an investment management firm in New York. He is currently a board member of General Electric. He has previously been on the boards of Bank of New York Mellon, Family Dollar Stores, Janus Henderson Group plc, Legg Mason, Pentair and The Wendy’s Company.
